The 2v 'pod' structure
This is essentially a 2v with another layer that goes straight-down which means you get good head space in a neat footprint.
You need 32 extra sticks on top of the regular 2v:
20x Shorts
10x Longs
1x Door Short (0.466x diameter)
1x Door Long (0.422x diameter)

We suggest creating the extra height with 20x Shorts.
This means that the height is made of isosceles triangles (these make up the majority of the dome already). Then you use another 10x Longs for the new base which is the same diameter as the base dome, just off-set by half a Long.
We recommend 3.2m as a max size, if you go much bigger it becomes a bit unwieldy and harder to build and the height becomes too high for the diameter.

45x Longs @ 900mm
50x Shorts @ 786mm
1x Door Long @ 1491mm
1x Door Short @ 1350mm

Note:
This is just a regular 2v kit + 10x additional 6-way hubs with all parts. If you already have a 2v kit the upgrade pack of hubs is here.
If you've bought a 2v already, you can buy the pod upgrade pack to get the ten extra 6-ways you need.
You could also consider using our base feet to anchor the pod to soft or hard ground. Ground anchors are available separately for anchoring to soft ground.
